高山師ご夫妻をお招きして/ Invited missionary, Mr. and Mrs. Takayama

今月は、ハバロフスクやアラスカで、自動車や飛行機のエンジニアとして宣教活動をしてこられた高山技術宣教師ご夫妻のお話しを聴かせて頂く事が出来、感謝しています。
「極寒の地の熱いお話し」でした。
働きの種類は様々でも、主を愛し、仕えたいと願うこころざしは一つである事を思いました。
集会が行われた11／4は、世界的に迫害下の教会のための祈祷日という事になっていたそうで、そのことについても覚えて祈る時間を持てました。

We are thankful to have an opportunity to listen to the story of Mr. and Mrs. Takayama, who have been technology missionaries as an engineer to Khabarovsk and Alaska to our home Bible study.
It was a “hot story of the coldest place.”
Even though the types of work are various, we believe we have one purpose in Him, and that is to love the Lord and serve Him.
We had this meeting on Nov. 4th, and we learned that 4th and 11th of November 2018 are the international days of prayers for the persecuted churches.
So, we all could have some time to pray and remember about it.
